Frequently Asked Questions

Technical and commercial questions we receive most often from spinning mills and textile machinery dealers. If your question is not answered here, our engineers reply within one working day.

What types of textile bobbins & tubes do you supply?

We supply a full range of spinning plastic bobbins, including roving bobbins, ring bobbins, dyeing tubes, cone bobbins, cylindrical bobbins, thread spools and paper cones. We also provide spare parts for spinning machinery for textile mills.

What information do you need for an accurate quotation?

Please provide bobbin type, key dimensions (inner bore, outer diameter, length), machine model, spindle speed, yarn type, required colour, annual consumption and order quantity. Drawings or photos of existing samples are highly recommended.

Are your bobbins suitable for high-speed spinning operation?

Yes. Our bobbins are strictly controlled for concentricity, wall thickness uniformity and dynamic balance. They are tested for high-speed running to minimise vibration during ring-spinning or roving-frame production, avoiding yarn breakage.

Can your dyeing tubes withstand high-temperature yarn dyeing processes?

Our dyeing tubes are made of special modified PP material, resistant to high temperature, acid and alkali in yarn dyeing. Please advise your actual dyeing temperature and medium, and we will match the proper material grade for you.

Can you customize non-standard sizes, colours or surface treatments?

Yes. Custom dimensions, colours, flocked surfaces and special groove structures are available. Customized items require new mould investment and a higher MOQ. Standard sizes are kept in stock for fast delivery.

What is your dimensional tolerance for bobbins?

Standard dimensional tolerance follows textile industry norms: ±0.15 mm for main dimensions. Strict bore tolerance guarantees good fitting with spindles. Poor tolerance will cause vibration, bobbin jumping and yarn breakage on spinning machines.

Can I get samples for machine testing before a bulk order?

Yes. Existing standard samples are free of charge; customers cover the sample freight. For custom-made items, a sample cost will be charged. A machine trial test is strongly suggested before a large-volume purchase.

What is your MOQ and production lead time?

MOQ depends on item type. Standard stock bobbins support small-batch orders. For custom-moulded products the MOQ is higher. Lead time is 7–14 days for standard goods and 20–30 days for customized mass production.

Are your bobbins compatible with different spinning machine brands?

Our standard bobbins fit most mainstream spinning machines. Compatibility is determined by bore size, total length and flange dimension. Please share your machine specification or photos of your old bobbin, and we will confirm the matching for you.

What material are your plastic bobbins made of?

The main raw material is reinforced modified polypropylene (PP-GF). Key features: high rigidity, impact resistance and anti-ageing. For dyeing tubes we select a chemical-resistant formula to adapt to the dye bath environment. Paper cones adopt high-strength paper composite material.

Do you provide material certificates or compliance documents?

Yes. We can provide material test reports and REACH compliance documents for the EU market. Special third-party certification can be arranged on customer request.

Why does yarn break frequently during running on bobbins?

Common reasons: poor dynamic balance or concentricity of the bobbins, burrs or sharp edges on the surface, a bore size that does not match the spindle, or damaged / deformed bobbins. Replace damaged bobbins regularly in daily mill operation.

Still have a question?

Send us your bobbin drawing, machine model or a photo of the part you are replacing. Our technical team confirms dimensions, material grade and price within one working day.
